Our laboratory operations are supervised by the Baylor College of Medicine Pathology Department, headed by Dr. Thomas Wheeler. Our state of the art Horbriba® ABX4000 and Horbriba® Lab Analyzer are proficient at analyzing blood volumes, bleeding and clotting times, chemical and molecular profiles, and urinalysis – all of which are essential when evaluating a potential patient’s candidacy for surgery or when determining what peripheral complications may need further consideration.
Our laboratoty protocol are fully certified by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments organization (CLIA). CLIA certification means that a laboratory adheres to a rigorous set of established standards that ensure the systems and equipment are regularly calibrated to maintain accuracy.
