General Surgery

General surgery is essentially defined as any surgical procedure that focuses on the treatment of abdominal organs such as the intestines, stomach, colon, liver or gallbladder. General surgery may also broadly include minor surgical treatment outside of the abdominal area of the body to treat any injury, deformity or disease such as a cyst or tumor. Because the physicians, many of whom hold an interest in the hospital, were involved in the development of the operating rooms, they choose First Street Hospital as the ideal facility to perform procedures. The OR suites are brand new and house state of the art equipment that has been chosen by our medical staff to best suit the needs of their cases.
